Expense Data: If you use the expense tracking feature, we store expense titles, amounts, and participant information that you enter.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app experience.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the TripFlick service
• Generate personalized travel itineraries using AI (Google Gemini)
• Enable group collaboration features (voting, route sharing, expense splitting)
• Display relevant place photos (via Unsplash)
• Translate place descriptions to your preferred language

TripFlick uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, cloud functions, and hosting
• Google Gemini AI: Place recommendations and itinerary generation
• Unsplash: Place and food photography
• Mapbox: City search and geocoding
• Google Cloud Translation: Description translations

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Trip data is stored as long as the trip exists. You can delete your trip data by leaving a group.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is shared only in the following cases:

• Within your trip group: Other group members can see your display name, votes, and shared expenses
• Service providers: Third-party services listed above process data as necessary to provide their services
